Ethical review process

We ask the scientists who review grant applications to flag to us any applications that are likely to raise ethical issues. Any such applications are sent to members of the Bioscience for Society Strategy Panel, who then discuss with the applicant how issues can be resolved. We do not start funding grants until all issues have been resolved.
